Peace in the Word Advent Day 10 12-10-2025

Advent /Countdown Day 10

Peace is a versatile Word in the Word.

In Galatians 5:22-23 it reads;

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control; against such things there is no law.

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. And the peace of God whick surpasses al understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Then there is Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

You can see it goes from direction or list, to instruction in how to keep the peace, and then  it gives us the prize of abounding in hope aftr being filled with joy and peace! We can find so many more verses but these three spoke to me today to remind me of how God sets us up with steps to walk in but He also shows us the end to the means.

Nothing our God does is frivolus or unthoughtout. Everything He does has a purpose to complete for our benefit mostly, but also for His. Who does that? Who plans our needs and desires to find the answers to what we want with purpose? We can do things our own ways and not have peace or we can chose to follow after God's guidance and receive His blessing in what we do in a form of actual peace... Peace is amazing when we find it.

Heavenly Father, thank you for all of the fruits of the spirit but especially for the peace. Help us to continue focusing on Your Word and keeping the peace!In Jesus' name, amen.
