Please feel free to answer questions in the Comment section. I will post my own answers in a day or two because I want you to do a personal study and not lean on the answer that I found incase you have a better answer! Also remember that this is not meant to be done in one sitting, though if you have the time go for it! I trust you will enjoy the enlightened information James has for us, in His Word
1. James: Who was the
author?
2. Why did he write the letter? Who was it for?
3. Is Chapter 1:1-16 an encouragement or a directive form of scripture?
4. What are the Blessings and how do you get them?

it a life altering word?
6. Why is it important enough to remember?

each one?

Verses 11-27 Listening and Doing
13. Take note of the key verses you recognize in this section of
the chapter.
14.The one from 19 and
20 is quite commonly quoted in the world today, not just by Christians. It is
good wisdom to follow. Why is it better to listen fast but slow to speak?
15. What do we need to get rid of and why? (see the ‘therefore')What does it have to do with being human?
16.What word is planted in us?
17. Why should we not just listen to the Word? Also, does this
include reading it? What should we do?
18. (Loaded Question!) What is the part about a mirror intended to teach us and is
it relatable to you? Create your own description of this portion of scripture.
How would you explain the looking in a mirror and forgetting in a different
way? Use things that someone you know would understand.
*like looking in a fridge and forgetting the food in it and then
going to the store without a list.
19. Verse 26 refers to people who call themselves religious,
this verse causes a lot of confusion if not read correctly, why do you think it
is?
20. Why do you need to
keep a reign on your tongue of you consider yourself to be religious, or a
Christian? What could happen if you did not?
21. Who are we supposed to look after? Why?
22. How do we live religiously properly? Describe what you understand 'a religious person' to be from this chapter of reading.
