Hello!
We had such a wonderful time at the fair this year. The most interesting things we learned were how many trucks it took to carry a ferris wheel, more people come to the fair at night than at day time, and if you enter items in the 'educational' side you won't get a prize for your ribbon but thats okay!
We entered many things this year and recieved quite a pile of ribbons!
Johnny entered his Lego creation of a space station, it included aliens annd space guys fighting them! He won a special award for it!
Mimi made jewelery and some knit and crocheted items that she recieved ribbons for as well!
I even decorated a back pack for my nephew Cory, he may get a sneak peek if he looks at my blog!
I got a second place, not bad for being talked into entering and doing a simple design.
I encourage you all to join in with entering items in your local and state fairs they give you ribbons and prize money! What a treat for all the hard work!
